Strategic & Business Planning
Strategic Planning training
A strategic plan defines how you intend to achieve your vision. It isn’t a woolly, over generalised statement of intent or an aspirational statement. It contains specifics which guide the development of business or operational plans. However, many organisations fall into this trap.
Vision creation is perhaps the hardest task. Achieving a consensus on what direction the organisation should be going, what the drivers of change are and how far you can honestly plan ahead all contribute to making this task even more difficult.
Ideally, a strategic planning training programme should be delivered when the process of strategic planning is being undertaken by the organisation. The learning, can be applied immediately and improves the quality of outcome achieved.
Business or Operational Planning
The business or operational planning process should always be cognizant of the strategic plan which underpins it. In essence, these plans define, in much greater detail, how each of the strategic objectives, defined in the strategic plan, will be achieved.
