Welcome to the Hillsborough Boys Junior Football Club. Hillsborough Boys offer quality coaching and competitive sport for some of the most talented footballers in the Lisburn City and surrounding areas.
The club has teams taking the field each week from Under 8 up to Under 16. All our coaches are qualified to IFA Level 1 level as a minimum and we welcome new players throughout the season at all age groups.
If you would like to join the club then turn up at the appropriate age group's training session and introduce yourself to the manager. Training times and locations for each age group are detailed on their respective sections of the website.
We look forward to meeting new players, parents and guardians every year.

Year Groups
For the coming season (2008/09), the Northern Ireland Leagues brought the year groups into line with the rest of the UK and Europe. So last year's Under 8s will be this year's Under 10s. So now it is much simpler to work out which team your child belongs to.
For the 2008 season, if your son was born in, say, 2000 - that's 8 years before 2008, and 8 is, of course, under 9.
If they were born in 1995, that's 13 years before 2008 and 13 is... you've guessed it Under 14. For completeness, here is a table of years of birth and team:
